There's so much more to who you are than you know right now. You are, indeed, something mysterious and someone magnificent. WHY?
Why do we need this work?
In a culture, where vulnerability can sometimes be viewed as weakness, it's crucial for men to understand that healing their emotional pain is not a sign of weakness but an essential part of being mentally, emotionally, and physically well.
We live in a rapidly changing world and our families and community need our leadership, guardianship and caretaking now more than ever. They need to feel safe, secure and supported under your care.
The most courageous thing you can do is to take a walk out into the wilderness alongside other men on your path to discover your Wild Man.
Every indigenous culture has a form of Rites of Passage, here in Australia us fellas didn't get that opportunity growing up and it causes us great pain and turmoil as men.
The real epidemic for males is that we end up with adolescent maturity in grown man bodies because we never went through any form of Elder guided initiation. Our culture has created this and we are the one's that have to take action and rewrite the story, especially for our boys.
We end up with broken boys in a mid-life crisis instead. Women end up angry, alone and hurt because of immature men that aren't connected to their core. And children often don't grow up with safe emotional Fathers, which is deeply damaging to their psychological development.
Unhealed masculinity leads to trauma through violence, pain, abuse, and separation, which is destroying relationships and families, but with the right support you can become the catalyst for healing and inspiration.
We have led this retreat for over 330 men and had the pleasure of watching every man change his life so that he can lead well from within.
My mission is to empower men to be safe, secure and stable pillars of strength within the home and community and for no man to feel alone, scared and isolated.
